Our studio sits in Exeter Science Park, a UK technology campus about ten minutes from the historic city centre. Two trains an hour to London Paddington, twenty minutes to the Devon coast.

Every enquiry gets a real answer from a senior engineer — never a sales rep, never an autoresponder, never a senior partner who forwards it to someone else.
A senior reads it
The same engineer who wrote the reply is the one who would lead the build. They reply within one business day.
Discovery call
If there's a fit, we book a 30-minute call to walk through scope, timing, references, and a rough cost range.
Honest outcome
Either a fixed-scope proposal within 5 business days, or an honest intro to another studio that's a better match.

When can we expect a reply?
Business enquiries: within 1 business day. App support: within 2 business days. Privacy / data requests: within the legally required window (typically 30 days under GDPR, often faster in practice).
Replies always come from a named human — never a sales rep or autoresponder.
Will we have to sign an NDA to start a conversation?
No. We have a short mutual NDA available, but we'll happily talk first. If something is genuinely sensitive you can mention it up front and we'll countersign before the next reply.
Do you take equity in lieu of cash?
Occasionally — only for studio-owned products where we contribute the core engine. Never on client work, where we prefer fixed-scope and capped retainers to keep incentives aligned.
What's your typical engagement size?
Most engagements fall between £35k and £250k. We work on a two-week paid discovery, then fixed-scope build phases of 8 – 14 weeks, with optional capped retainers for ongoing iteration.
Can you build for non-Apple platforms?
Yes — Android (Kotlin / Compose), Wear OS, Android TV, and macOS. We don't ship cross-platform web stacks; if you need a particular framework, we can recommend a partner.
Are you open to remote-only collaborations?
Yes. Roughly 70% of our client work runs remote-first on European business hours. On-site kickoff weeks are encouraged but not required.
Can we visit the studio?
Yes — visits are by appointment. We host client teams in our Exeter office for kickoffs, retros, and design workshops. The full address is on the studio map above.
